Detailed Description

Drawing-based CuCrZr crystallization wheels for copper or aluminum continuous casting and rolling (CCR) lines that use a wheel-and-belt casting arrangement.

Application & Role

Within the specified equipment, the product performs the function and occupies the position defined by the approved assembly drawing. Its duty is reviewed against the installation location, mating components, process boundary, operating environment, loads, applicable utility interfaces, maintenance access, and replacement method.

Material & Working Conditions

CuCrZr designation, standard, condition, heat treatment, blank route, forging or rolling, joining, rough and finish machining, drilling, and final surface requirements must be defined by the order. No conductivity, hardness, softening behavior, cooling performance, or campaign life is inferred from the alloy abbreviation.

Drawing-Based Customization

Provide line type and metal, wheel outside diameter and width, groove section and profile, groove path, rim thickness, steel-belt width and contact geometry, belt entry and exit relationships, casting direction, cooling zones, water passages and connections, hub and shaft fit, and other product-specific interfaces defined by the drawing. Drawing revision, equipment interfaces, operating conditions, and acceptance requirements are reviewed before quotation.
