Application Scope

Winworth manufactures drawing-based components for confirmed positions in chemical process furnaces and thermal equipment. Typical inquiries may involve burner cooling panels, cooling interfaces, nozzles, sleeves, supports, guides, liners, wear parts, special-alloy machined parts, and other buyer-defined replacement components.

The page does not treat every thermal unit as the same furnace. Fired heaters, steam reformers, pyrolysis furnaces, thermal reactors, incinerators, kilns, dryers, calciners, and electrically heated units can have different process, pressure, combustion, heat-transfer, refractory, tube, material, and safeguarding requirements.

Standard and Equipment Boundary

API 560 applies to fired heaters for general refinery service when cited by the purchaser; its public scope does not make it a default code for reformers, pyrolysis furnaces, incinerators, kilns, gasifiers, or every chemical furnace. Applicable process, pressure, structural, electrical, combustion, emissions, and safety codes must be identified by the owner or responsible engineer.

Winworth supplies only the ordered component scope. A burner cooling panel does not represent the complete burner, combustion system, furnace casing, coil or tube system, refractory, stack, fan, fuel train, burner management system, controls, monitoring, interlocks, relief system, emissions package, or complete cooling system.

Operating and Material Inputs

Provide process and equipment name, tag and zone, furnace architecture, heat source, feed and product media, composition and contaminants, phase, design and operating temperature, pressure, velocity, solids, combustion atmosphere, thermal cycling, deposits, corrosion or damage assessment, refractory, cooling medium and conditions, adjacent materials, joining method, and installation constraints.

Material selection must follow the approved process and mechanical design. A label such as heat resistant, corrosion resistant, stainless steel, nickel alloy, copper alloy, or aluminum bronze is not a complete specification. State the exact standard, grade, product form, condition, heat treatment, chemistry, properties, corrosion qualification, weld requirements, tests, and certificate scope.

Manufacturing, Inspection, and RFQ Information

Provide part and assembly drawings, revisions, interfaces, datums, dimensions, tolerances, passages, welds or joints, surface condition, coatings or linings, heat treatment, NDT, pressure or leakage test conditions, trial-fit requirements, quantity, records, marking, preservation, packaging, and destination.

Link Copper Burner Cooling Panel only when the requested item is a matching drawing-based burner-zone cooling component. Do not redirect generic refractory, tubes, complete burners, gasifier internals, EAF/SAF components, or smelting-furnace jackets to that product.

No furnace capacity, duty, efficiency, temperature uniformity, tube life, refractory life, cooling performance, emissions, process quality, campaign length, or service life is guaranteed by supplying an individual component.
