RFQ Checklist Packing requirements for heavy copper components, machined faces, connections, lifting, moisture protection, markings, and documents.

Export packaging should be designed from product mass, center of gravity, sensitive surfaces, transport route and destination requirements.

Product Protection

  • Protect machined faces, threads, connections and sealing areas.
  • Use suitable rust prevention for steel interfaces and accessories.
  • Prevent movement, impact and metal-to-metal contact inside the case.
  • Keep internal cooling channels clean and sealed.

Handling and Structure

  • Provide verified lifting points and center-of-gravity markings.
  • Design skid, blocking and case strength for the component weight.
  • Consider forklift, crane and container-loading access.
  • Comply with applicable wood-treatment requirements.

Identification and Documents

  • Mark project, part number, case number, gross and net weight.
  • Provide packing list and package photographs.
  • Include preservation instructions and document pouch.
  • Confirm destination, shipping marks and language.
