Review these items before releasing a copper crucible or crystallizer drawing for quotation.

Geometry and Interfaces

  • Overall diameter, length, wall thickness and bottom geometry.
  • Flange, bolt circle, sealing surface and mating equipment dimensions.
  • Inlet, outlet, threads, flanges and cooling-channel arrangement.
  • Lifting, handling and installation features.

Material and Manufacturing

  • Copper grade, material standard and delivery condition.
  • Monolithic, forged, cast, welded or fabricated construction.
  • Machining datums, critical tolerances and surface finish.
  • Weld details and heat-treatment requirements.

Acceptance

  • Pressure or leak test requirement and medium.
  • UT, PT, RT or other NDT scope.
  • Material, dimensional and test reports.
  • Cleanliness, preservation and export packing.
